Venus L. Works

Since 2009, Venus has counseled a myriad of adolescents and adults while working in Wayne State University's free clinic as both counselor and supervisor; working at University Prep Schools (Detroit) as the School Counseling + Culture Director; to opening her boutique counseling practice in 2017. Venus has first-hand knowledge of and exposure to the overall impact of strong families on human development. Yielding positive client outcomes through research-based practices is Venus' sixth sense.

Brittney is a licensed clinical social worker with over 7 years of experience assisting clients who are working to overcome depression; anxiety; chronic stress; body image and self-esteem concerns; disordered eating; and managing general day-to-day challenges. Brittney’s therapeutic approach is individually tailored to ensure each client leaves with tools to help them enjoy a happy and balanced life.

Therapist

Aisha Cunningham

As a mental health professional and high school counselor, Aisha provides emotional and behavioral support; coping skills for stress, anxiety, and anger. She also assists with processing life transitions. Aisha's utilizes a Person-Centered approach with a focus on Motivational Interviewing. Through compassion, sincerity, and active listening, she ensures clients feel safe to be open, direct, and ultimately resolve their concerns.
