About Aneshia
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, PhD student in Human Sexuality, and an expert couples therapist.
I actively study sexual intimacy and pleasure within long-term relationships, with particular interest in how culture, identity, religion, and sexual communication shape intimacy among Black couples. My doctoral studies allow me to continue deepen the expertise I bring to my clinical work with couples.
I help partners rebuild deep connection. My practice focuses on intimacy, communication, and sexual wellness. Together, we will create a secure space to have the honest, vulnerable conversations you might struggle to have even with each other.
I use a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, sex-positive, and strengths-based approach that combines couples therapy with intentional conversations about intimacy, sexuality, communication, trust, and relational patterns. I strive to create a space where couples can have the conversations they may struggle to have openly, even with one another.
