About Dr. Carter
Dr. Clarisse Carter brings over two decades of clinical expertise and a deep-rooted passion for holistic healing to Lifeline Medical Center. As a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she offers a rare combination of physical and emotional healthcare expertise, ensuring her patients receive comprehensive, compassionate support.
Dr. Carter’s distinguished academic background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Detroit and degrees from Madonna University, where she now serves as a dedicated educator. Her commitment to the next generation extends beyond the classroom as the Co-founder of the "I AM" mentoring program, empowering young women ages 10–18 to reach their full potential.
Guided by her faith and a spirit of service, Dr. Carter is an active leader in her church’s outreach and teaching ministries. When she isn’t caring for patients or mentoring students, she treasures life with her childhood best friend and husband of 27 years, their four children, and her grandson. By blending high-level clinical skill with a heart for service, Dr. Carter provides a safe, professional space for your mental health journey.
